How Could Anyone Believe in Something That is Not Backed by Scientific Evidence? (INSIGHT: THE OGRE)

“Only fools believe in monsters.” That’s what Assad Smart would tell anyone when they began to talk to him about the unexplainable events that began shortly after the university opened it’s doors in their small town. This was the growing topic of conversation at the local pub.”How could anyone believe in something that is not backed by scientific evidence? Where’s the proof? Show me one of these monsters.” Assad had grown up in the upper class and achieved great pleasure ridiculing the beliefs of the locals. He believed he had a great deal of information on their beliefs from listening to their church leaders teach from their religious books, which although the majority of the townspeople followed, none of them ever sat down to read.
